Terms of service
Last updated: 16 October 2026
Please read these terms before you order. By placing an order you agree to them. They don’t affect your legal rights as a consumer.
1. About us
Verilove is a UK-based business. Contact us at hello@verilove.co.uk.
2. Who can use Verilove
You can only order a check if all of the following are true:
- you are 18 or over and live in the UK;
- you are currently in a relationship with, or dating, the person you want checked;
- they are not an ex-partner, and you are not subject to any court order, injunction or police notice relating to them;
- you will use the report only for your own personal decisions, and not to harass, threaten, expose or harm anyone.
Every customer must pass an ID check and answer our eligibility questions truthfully. We may refuse or stop any order if we have concerns about safety or misuse. If we do, we will refund you in full, unless you gave us false information.
3. What we provide
Each service is described on our pricing section. In summary:
- Basic Check (£29): identity and age match, review of up to 5 social media platforms, and a dating-app presence check where possible.
- Full Check (£69): everything in Basic, plus county court judgments, bankruptcy and insolvency, company directorships, a light loyalty test and a follow-up call.
- Full Loyalty Test (price on request): an in-depth test of up to 5 days across several platforms, carried out by an experienced investigator partner. Extra eligibility screening applies.
The loyalty tests
In the light loyalty test, a reviewer sends one friendly message on one platform you choose. If the person replies, a short, polite conversation may follow for up to 48 hours. We never escalate to flirting, never arrange to meet, and never ask for money, photos or private information. You receive screenshots and a factual summary.
What we will never do
We don’t hack accounts, track phones, access private messages or records, carry out DNA tests, or obtain information by pretending to be someone else to a bank, phone company, employer or similar organisation.
4. What a report can and can’t tell you
Reports are based on information that is publicly available, or that the person chooses to share, at the time of the check. We can’t guarantee that we will find everything, that online information is accurate or up to date, or that an account belongs to the person if we can’t confirm a match. A dating-app profile or a reply to a message does not by itself prove that someone has been unfaithful. We report what we found and what we didn’t, clearly and factually. Decisions you make after reading a report are your own.
5. Your responsibilities
- Give us accurate information about yourself and the person you want checked.
- Keep your report private. Don’t publish it, post it online or share it with others, except with professional advisers or the police.
- Don’t confront or contact anyone in a way that could put you or them at risk. If you are worried about your safety, see the safety help on our FAQ.
6. Prices and payment
Prices are shown on our website and are payable in full, in advance, by card through our payment provider, Stripe. There are no subscriptions or hidden charges.
7. Timing
Before we start any check, we review the information you have given us and confirm it with you by email. Nothing starts until you confirm. Basic and Full Checks are then delivered within 48 hours. Loyalty tests run for the period described above. If we can’t meet a timescale we will tell you, and you can cancel for a full refund.
8. Cancellations and refunds
- Before you confirm: you can cancel for a full refund.
- After you confirm: you are asking us to start work straight away. If you cancel before your report is delivered, you pay for the work already done and we refund the rest. This is your legal right to cancel within 14 days, which applies only until the service is complete.
- Once your report has been delivered, you can no longer cancel or get a refund.
- If you fail the ID or eligibility checks, or we refuse an order, you get a full refund, unless you gave us false information.
- If we make a mistake in your report, tell us and we will correct it free of charge or refund you.
9. Our liability
If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. Our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid for the check. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
10. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, including how long we keep reports.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy, email hello@verilove.co.uk. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
